Successful Implementation of External Piloting Across Partner Countries
External piloting activity in the EPICURIOUS project has been successfully implemented across all participating partner countries, and overwhelmingly positive feedback from the target groups has been received. This milestone marks a significant achievement in the project timeline, as the hands-on evaluation of project outputs provided invaluable insights.
External Piloting in the Netherlands:
On November 25, 2024, the EPICURIOUS external piloting session for the Personalized Skills Wheel was held at the ILA Office in Amsterdam. The session welcomed 12 participants, aged 17 to 55, including students, trainers, and entrepreneurs. Over the course of the piloting activity, attendees engaged deeply with the platform, exploring its features and providing valuable feedback.
Participants rated the platform highly, with an average score of 5/5 for overall satisfaction. Key sections such as “My Wheel” and “All Wheels” received positive reviews for their intuitive design and functionality. Thematic content areas, including Visual Arts, Music, and Writing, were particularly appreciated for their engaging and practical approach.
This external piloting session is another step forward in ensuring the EPICURIOUS platform meets the needs of its users, contributing to the broader goal of enhancing employability in cultural and creative industries.
External Piloting in France:
The French external piloting session for the Personalized Skills Wheel, held on October 30, 2024, brought together 11 participants, primarily students aged 17 to 34, who engaged with the platform to explore its features and provide their comments. Feedback gathered from the session highlighted that most participants found the platform user-friendly, with clear instructions and engaging content. The majority rated key sections like “My Wheel” and “All Wheels” as very good, while thematic areas such as Music, Film and Media, and Digital Skills were particularly well-received. Some minor technical issues were reported, but overall, the platform was highly rated for its functionality and relevance.
External Piloting in Austria:
In Austria, The EPICURIOUS external piloting process took place on October 15th 2024, at Die Berater’s Youth College (Jugendcollege) Training Center in Vienna. The piloting process was organised and led by Die Berater’s staff members, including project managers and trainers. The piloting process lasted for a total duration of 2,5 hours, starting at 12.30h and finishing at 15.00h, and gathered a group of 18 young trainees, aged from 17 to 24. Minor technical issues arose during the piloting process, but no prohibitive ones. The trainees responded overwhelmingly positively to the training and the EPICURIOUS project results, as indicated by the feedback collected after the training.
External Piloting in Czechia:
The Czech external piloting of the Personalized Skills Wheel took place online in October 2024. AKLUB engaged ten participants aged 18 to 27. Participants interacted with the platform over several days at their own pace, providing feedback afterwards via email or direct messages.
The platform was well-received, with no reported technical issues. Participants found the platform user-friendly and the content engaging.
External Piloting in Greece:
Learning Seed is proud of the external piloting session of EPICURIOUS Skills Wheel, held virtually on October 25th 2024. The online session gathered 12 passionate participants from diverse backgrounds, exploring personalised skills development in music, writing, handcrafts, visual arts, digital skills, and film/media. Through interactive activities, assessments, and case studies, participants gained invaluable insights and resources to enhance their employability in this dynamic field.
Feedback from the session highlighted the platform’s user-friendly design, engaging content, and its potential as a transformative educational resource. While some areas for improvement were identified, the overwhelmingly positive response underscores EPICURIOUS’s role in shaping the future of cultural education.
