Share of Creative Companies in Austria 2020

Vienna is not only home to the largest number of creative industry companies in absolute terms, it also has the highest significance within the overall economy of the federal states. In 2020, 18% of all Viennese companies were active in the creative sector. In Salzburg (9.4%), Lower Austria (9.4%), Vorarlberg (9.3%) and Styria (9.3%), the share of creative enterprises in the overall economy is more than 9%.
